Tell us about a subject you enjoy studying

One content that I have enjoyed studying in my career, despite the difficulty of the academic load, is epistemology. This is a branch of philosophy devoted to the study of the origins and possibilities of knowledge. Specifically, we study the perceptions of modern thought regarding the object of epistemology. Thus, we study thought of authors such as Descartes, Bacon, Kant, Marcuse, Kolakowski and Freire, among others. 

I enjoy studying epistemology because I consider its contents to be useful and interesting in everyday life. From a closer study of the scope of human knowledge it is understood that reality is more complex than we often believe.

By studying epistemology I have learned that what we grasp from reality is not objective knowledge, and that the very idea of knowledge has changed throughout history. I also learned the tools that can be used to arrive at certain forms of knowledge. In relation to what I thought before studying the subject, I consider that it is important to question even what seems obvious in order to really uderstand something.
